SOWING INSTRUCTIONS
Depth:
1/8"; requires darkness to germinate.
Starting Indoors:
Recommended. 8-10 weeks before last frost. Keep at 65-75°F in darkness until germination occurs. If no germination after four weeks, chill in refrigerator for two weeks, then return to warmth.
Starting Outdoors:
Not recommended.
PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
The cool weather of fall brings out the lacquered plum color on the mass of stems and pinpoints of lilac-pink flowers that is verbena 'Bampton'. Beautiful as a container plant, or planted in the mixed border with salvias and dahlias. Easy care, it can self-seed like others in its tribe.

Moderate drought tolerance once established. Water during prolonged dry spells.

Slightly acid to alkaline
Fertilizer:
Mix in a few inches of compost prior to planting.
