Mullein Seeds

Verbascum species and cultivars, commonly called mullein, are vigorous, statuesque plants that add drama and contrasting form to meadows, cottage, and gravel gardens in well-drained soils. In summer, bees and butterflies visit the open saucers of bloom. Cut back flower stalks, if desired, after bloom to encourage a second set of flowers, or allow the stalks to mature seeds and self-sow to continue the show in following years.
