Sweet Pea Plants

Since we first grew flowers, antique varieties of sweet peas have been our favorites, for their scented blooms set the gold standard for sweet pea fragrance. Our selections now include modern ruffled kinds, and all have that wonderful orange blossom fragrance. They reward good soil prep with luxuriant growth and fistfuls of lushly scented flowers. A hardy annual, plant out in early spring and protect from mice and slugs.
