Small but mighty, slender vervain has whisper-lilac flowers in lightly fragrant clusters that refuse to stop blooming, even laughing off the first frosts of fall. A pollinator magnet that imparts a cool, unruffled sophistication to garden edges fronting tall verbena and swaths of coneflowers.

Starting Indoors:
Recommended. 8-10 weeks before last frost. Keep at 65-75°F in darkness until germination occurs. If no germination after four weeks, chill in refrigerator for two weeks, then return to warmth.

Not recommended.

PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
The many-branched stems of Vervain 'Polaris' root along their length to make flower-filled drifts, becoming a groundcover where hardy. Lovely edging garden paths and brimming over large containers, attracting numerous butterflies while repelling deer and rabbits.
