PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Princess flower earns its elevated status with clusters of velvety royal purple blooms, velvety leaves, and regal bearing. More compact than the species, it branches freely with early pinching. Provide a warm protected spot in northern gardens, with a bit of afternoon shade in hot, dry summer areas—it thrives in humid climates. Mulch roots to keep cool and supply regular water and kelp-based fertilizer. Pinch back after the first flush of bloom. Keep over winter, supplying additional humidity, for a repeat show next season.
