PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Three Birds Flying has large violet-purple flowers in whorls of three tipping on the ends of wiry stems. Each flower has a long, kite-like tail that heavy bumblebees weigh down, opening access to the pollen within. It benefits from support to corral the tall stems and is tailor-made for containers.
Watering Details:
Keep evenly moist until well-established, then water during dry spells.
Fertilizer:
Mix in an inch of compost prior to planting if soil is especially poor.
