Surface sow and press in lightly.
Seed To Bloom:
14-16 weeks
Starting Indoors:
Sow indoors 6-8 wks before last frost. Keep at 65-75°F.
Starting Outdoors:
Recommended. Direct sow 2 weeks before last frost.
PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
This feathery foliaged, fragrant plant is often grown in the cutting garden for use in wreaths and dried bouquets, for its fruity scent remains when dried. Generally trouble-free, the seed takes up to 3 weeks to germinate but quickly grows to a tall pyramidal bush by flowering and harvest time if spaced well apart.
Watering Details:
About an inch or less of water a week.
Fertilizer:
Mix in an inch of compost or some organic granular fertilizer before planting.
When to Cut for Bouquets:
Cut for dry use when the tiny yellow blossoms have opened, giving the entire plant a yellow hue.
