PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Siberian wallflower is variously described as an annual, biennial, or short-lived perennial. Start early indoors, grow cool, 50°F once fully germinated, and transplant in spring for bloom in summer in northern areas. Add brilliance to garden edges, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. Trim after blooming for neatness, leaving a few to self-sow.
Watering Details:
About 1" per week; do not overwater. May tolerate some drought once established.
Fertilizer:
If soil is poor, mix in a few inches of compost prior to planting.
When to Cut for Bouquets:
Cut when 1/2 of florets are open.
