PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Attractive to bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies, but not deer, beardtongue provides a welcome vertical focal point in sunny gardens. Prefers very well-drained soils—plant in raised beds or on slopes for superior drainage. Deadhead or cut for bouquets to keep the show going until frost. Very easy to grow and a profuse bloomer throughout the season. Cut back in fall after bloom for vigorous growth in spring where hardy.
