Once called Bastard Parsley for these two plants share umbellifera plant family resemblances, heirloom Orlaya is popular once again as a bouquet flower and summer garden edger, attracting beneficial insects and pollinators. Long blooming lace cap flowers completely cover the foliage with clouds of white set off by handsome dark green ferny foliage. Deadheading is necessary to keep it from going to seed, fortunately it makes an excellent cut flower, so you get to enjoy their clouds of white indoors and out. Best in moderate summer areas.
