Melampodium 'Showstar™'

Melampodium paludosum
We are lazy gardeners in the summer and prefer–no–need flowers that are easy to grow and require little coddling during this time of high heat and humidity. Melampodium has an unfailing bloom of simple star-shaped daisies in golden yellow all summer long on a compact, tidy shrub. No deadheading is needed; this underappreciated flower deserves to be a central feature of summer border edges and mid-border.
