Lychnis 'Vesuvius' has scarlet orange flowers in clusters of five-petaled, deeply notched petals. It blooms early summer, reblooming if regularly deadheaded. Pinch when setting out to encourage branching and profuse blooming. Allow a few to self-sow, if desired, an easy way to increase your holdings.
