PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
A fabulous groundcover native perennial, golden groundsel, or round-leaved groundsel looks lovely all season in soils that do not dry out. It spreads readily by seed and shallow rhizomes and can be divided and moved easily. After the golden daisies complete blooming, mow off the short stems to show off the neat foliage that remains effective all season into late fall, leaving a few seedheads to self-seed. Excellent in shady to partial sun areas, it also grows well in full sun where moisture is ample. A vital early season pollen source for bees.
