Feverfew 'Aureum'

Tanacetum parthenium aureum
Victorian gardeners called this ferny-leaved plant Golden Feather, for this rare heirloom has striking chartreuse scalloped leaves capped with masses of small daisy flowers. The earthy, mossy-scented foliage is in the group once called "Nose Twisters." I, for one, love its scent.

PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Feverfew 'Aureum' brightens any garden with its chartreuse spring foliage carpeted with sweet gold-centered daisy flowers. Pinch back when seedlings reach about 6" tall to encourage bushiness. Deadhead regularly to avoid excess self-sowing, leaving a few branches to drop seeds and renew your plantings. They were traditionally a medicinal herb in cottage gardens, the earthy pungent foliage used to treat headaches.
