PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Drumstick flower, or billy buttons as it's known down under, thrives in heat and withstands dry weather like a champ. Adaptable to various soil types, it comes into bloom midsummer, sending up slim woody stems topped with perfect golden globes. Pick when they shine their brightest; they will stay untarnished practically forever. Gather bunches into pop art floral bouquets or allow them to party in the garden bed, where they echo the golden centers of creeping daisies or contrast with bright blue cornflowers.
