Nasturtium Seeds
Nasturtiums are among the easiest of all annuals to grow. The seeds should be planted in the garden where they are to bloom, for they resent transplanting. They require only a rather poor soil and plenty of sun to bloom profusely and for a long time. The flowers rise well above the foliage unless the soil is rich, in which case the plants run to very vigorous foliage that partially hides the flowers. Attack by black aphids is easily controlled with soap sprays. Grow trailing varieties along low fences and banks. Grow compact varieties at the garden’s edge and in containers. All make excellent cut flowers.
