PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
This annual makes a beautiful addition to the middle of beds and borders and informal wildflower meadows. It is a sought after cut flower as well, valued as a lacy filler that enhances the focal flowers in a bouquet. It's also a good insectary plant, as it attracts bees and many other beneficial insects to your garden. After flowering, its seeds are a favorite of birds such as goldfinches. Caution: It is possible to develop a rash or blisters from the sap when cutting on a sunny day, gloves are recommended.
