WHEN TO SET OUTSIDE
This late spring-to-early fall bloomer is native to tropical Africa and can be set outside in spring after all danger of frost has passed.
PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Tropical black-eyed-susan vine is native to parts of Africa and Madagascar. It quickly twines up supports once summer heat kicks in and soon is covered in bright flowers with dimpled centers. The spent flowers drop off all by themselves and are quickly replaced with fresh blooms. Drape arbors and trelliswork with handsome leaves and abundant flowers. Also lovely spilling from containers, including window boxes and hanging baskets. Topdress with a couple of inches of mulch to keep the soil moist. Keep established plants well-watered and regularly fertilized for an exuberant show of flowers all summer and fall.
